Jodie - Yoga Instructor

I started a regular yoga practice in 2018, whilst going through a difficult time in my personal life. Working with the breath and the poses was able to bring me out of my mind and into my body, giving me something else to focus on, rather than the mess of my mind! I am so grateful that I had the support of yoga and my teachers to help me through. Since then my passion for yoga has only grown.

Delving into the mindfulness aspects has been a powerful tool to learn to minimise the automatic negative thoughts of my mind. I feel I have developed greater patience and am certainly kinder to myself. I am so excited to be teaching yoga! My hope is that I can empower others to feel good about themselves, just as I have learnt to. I wish to guide fellow yogis to value themselves, and to know that they are worthy of love, respect and belonging.
