Pumice stone granules- a powdered volcanic rock that had a long history for being a popular exfoliant.
Pearl powder- used throughout the Orient for 1000’s of years by Royalty to brighten and maintain youthful skin. It’s from the pearls that aren’t good enough quality for jewellery. They’re ground up into a fine powder, used for a gentle exfoliation.
Rosehip powder- one the rose has bloomed and the petals have fallen off, the ‘hip’ is removed from the centre, and processed into granules. Rosehips are naturally high in Vitamin C and can stimulate collagen production.
The benefits of exfoliating: It removes the outer layer of dead skin cells, which leaves your skin looking cleaner & brighter, and allows your moisturiser to penetrate better. It also stimulates new cell regeneration, so new and fresh skin cells look clearer and smoother.
Some people prefer the feel of something gentle, especially if your skin is a little sensitive, while other like the feeling of something more textured.
Keeping with the beach inspiration, like sand beneath the feet, the granules include pumice from ancient lava rocks, crushed up mother of pearl shell, powdered rice and rosehips.
